A LITTLE ABOUT ME...

Profile Pic_edited.jpg

In 2017, I graduated from Simmons College in Boston, MA with my B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. During my studies in nutrition I found my passion for holistic healing and felt a need to bring my scope of practice beyond a consultative nature to a more hands-on approach. Acupuncture had a major influence on my upbringing through my aunt and uncle who both practice acupuncture in Southern Maine, so I was familiar with the interactive essence of acupuncture and the immediate healing that it can bring.

I elected to pursue this passion at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Worcester, MA. Over 8 semesters of studies in less than 3 years, I earned my degree of Master of Acupuncture in Chinese Acupuncture Studies. That title encompasses studies in Traditional Chinese Medical theory, Anatomy and Physiology, Western Bio-Medicine, Orthopedic Acupuncture, Chinese Nutrition, Advanced Needling Techniques as well as adjunctive techniques like cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and magnet therapy. Along with my clinical rotations in NESA's Worcester Treatment Center, I also spent a clinical rotation in the Pediatric Pain Unit at Boston Medical Center treating a variety of pediatric cases.

After apprenticing with Tom St. Amand (my uncle) for 3 years, I finally joined him in his Kennebunk office as of August 2021. I am thrilled to have joined Family Acupuncture and look forward to working with each and every one of you!
